As a Board-Certified physician, an adjunct faculty member in the Dept. of Geriatrics and Gerontology at a major University, and a Medical Director for the nation’s largest Institutional Special Needs Plan (ISNP), I have seen exactly how the healthcare system operates—and where it fails the people who need it most.
